About
Pocket Lap started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of mobile games during commutes. At some point the lists got too long to keep in our heads, so we turned them into a site. Nothing fancy, just people who like playing and talking about what they play.,Everything you read here comes from real sessions on real phones. We don't skim trailers and call it a review. A racing game gets hours of laps, an RPG gets a proper run through its early chapters, and we only publish once someone on the team has actually finished the thing or at least played far enough to have an opinion worth reading.,We pick games across genres because our tastes are all over the place. One of us lives for tight arcade racers, another can't put down turn-based strategy, and someone always gravitates toward cozy simulators. That mix keeps the catalogue varied instead of forty puzzle clones.,No studio pays us to be nice. If a game is clunky, we say so. If it surprised us, we'll tell you exactly which moment won us over.
